A major winter storm is heading our way expecting to hit the Chicago Metro area by noon on Friday, January 20, and last through Saturday, January 21.
The heaviest accumulations will occur on Friday afternoon. In excess of 6" of snow is expected in most areas of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana. Lake effects might bring additional snow in parts of Chicago and Hammond, Indiana.
All Balanced Environments snow crews are on maxim alert and the dispatching of men and materials has commenced. If you have any special requests or instructions for your property(ies), please, call your Account Representative before the snow storm hits. Once the battle with Mother Nature starts, there will be little precious time to make changes to the existing strategy and program.
