Gayle Kruckenberg Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Gayle Kruckenberg is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and has been with Balanced Environments since 2007. Gayle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and has been in the green industry since 1997. As BEI’s Sales Director, her responsibilities are focused on the development and management of the BEI Sales team while still serving her client portfolio. Gayle’s primary directives are to monitor and manage the needs of BEI clientele and maintain a high level of quality control for the company as a member of the BEI Executive Team. Gayle has years of industry experience and has been involved in many award-winning building projects such as the Gold Award; Commercial Landscape Maintenance; National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), Kemper Lakes Business Center, Lake Zurich; the International TOBY Award for the Atrium Corporate Center, Rolling Meadows; The Gold Award; Commercial Landscape Maintenance; Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA), Woodfield Preserve, Schaumburg; The Merit Award; Commercial Landscape Maintenance; ILCA, Windsor Park Manor, Carol Stream. This also includes the Carol Stream Multi-Family Landscaper of the Year. Gayle’s philosophy towards landscape design and management is that the landscape should showcase the character and personality of the building and its occupants year-round. In 2010 Gayle was recognized as the Women In Management Corporate Member of the Year. Gayle’s love of horticulture started in 4-H growing into a college major and ultimately an award-winning career. She volunteers as a guest speaker for high school agriculture classes, local 4-H Clubs, and platforms where youth express an interest in landscaping. She is a North Boone Fire Protection District #1 Trustee and a previous adjunct professor of landscape design at McHenry County College.
